The Dalton State Annual Fund Campaign among College faculty and staff concluded recently with a 65-percent participation rate, up from the previous year’s reported rate of 54 percent.

“The campaign’s success is a direct result of 28 faculty and staff volunteers who solicited their colleagues,” says Whitney Jones, Development Coordinator. “We appreciate their leadership in this effort.”

The Dalton State Annual Fund supports the College by seeking private philanthropic support for investment in students, enhancing academic programs, promoting faculty and staff development, and other institutional initiatives that have significant impact on the quality and growth of Dalton State, Jones said.

Last year’s Annual Fund supported 53 student scholarships, 49 faculty development experiences, and 114 academic program initiatives.
