Dalton State’s Bandy Heritage Center is sponsoring “Remembering the Great War: The Arms and Equipment of the Allied and Central Powers,” an exhibit showcasing the personal collection of World War I weapons of Glen Kyle, Executive Director of the Northwest Georgia History Center at Brenau University.
“Kyle will present these weapons and explain how they shaped the course of the war and the lives of the individual soldier,” says Brian Hilliard, Project Director for Bandy Heritage Center.
The presentation is free to all students, faculty, and staff of Dalton State College and the general public and will take place on September 10 from 4:00 to 6:00 in Room 105 of the James E. Brown Center. For more information, contact the Bandy Center at 706-272-4452.
