Dalton State Foundation Receives Gift
August 6, 2014
The Dalton State Foundation recently received an unrestricted gift from the OMNOVA Solutions Foundation based in Fairlawn, Ohio.
“OMNOVA and Dalton State have enjoyed a relationship for many years,” said David Elrod, Director of Institutional Advancement for Dalton State. “The company, acting through its philanthropic foundation, made its first gift to the Dalton State Foundation in 2000, and it has been a consistent and generous donor ever since.”
“The company, its employees, and the OMNOVA Solutions Foundation are community leaders in their support of worthy projects like Dalton State,” Elrod said, “and their most recent gift is just the latest example of their outstanding corporate stewardship of our community.”
“We will use this gift and others like it in support of various strategic initiatives such as scholarships for hard-working students, professional development opportunities for our faculty and staff, and student leadership initiatives that promote a culture of engagement and volunteerism on campus and in our communities.”
Corporations or individuals wishing to join OMNOVA in its support of Dalton State may do so at www.giving.daltonstate.edu.
