Comedian Ronnie Jordan to Perform at Dalton State

Dalton State College is kicking off the school year with a hearty laugh with stand-up comedian Ronnie Jordan Thursday evening. As a part of the College’s Week of Welcome, Jordan will perform his act in Goodroe Auditorium in Gignilliat Memorial Hall on the Dalton State campus.

A native of Atlanta, Jordan has shared performance dates with fellow comedians Dave Chapelle, Mike Epps, and Ricky Smiley. He has been featured in multiple television shows and comedy specials, including BET's “Comic View,” “Martin Lawrence Presents the 1st Amendment Stand-up,” “P. Diddy Presents Bad Boys of Comedy,” and was the host of the successful Atlanta-based video show, “Oomp Camp Live.”

Jordan has also been featured in and headlined many comedy tours, notably the Miller Lite King and Queens of Comedy Search Tour, the Queens of Comedy tour, featuring famed female comedians Sommore, Monique, and Adelle Givens; and the RJE Comedy Cabaret Tour, the longest running and highest grossing comedy tour targeting colleges and universities.

Currently, Jordan is touring the nation’s colleges and universities on the College Material Tour. He will perform in Goodroe Auditorium at Dalton State College at 7:30 p.m. Thursday evening in a show that is free and open to the public. Be advised that Jordan’s show contains adult content and is not suitable for children or those easily offended. Seating is first come, first served.
