Cast of ‘Long Lost Relatives’ Features Dalton State Students and Faculty

“Long Lost Relatives,” a Dalton State faculty-penned comedy, will make its world debut on Thursday, Nov. 20 in City Park Elementary’s auditorium.
With romance, and family antics galore, “Long Lost Relatives” is the work of Associate Professor of Communication, Barbara Tucker. The play, set in Ringgold, focusses on the Kendrick family as they prepare for Meredeth’s wedding.
Jackie Daniels, Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts and chairperson of the play-reading committee at Dalton State, directs the production.
The cast is comprised of 16 Dalton State students, among them: Katherine Fromm, Hannah Fromm, Mollie Crawford, John Harrelson, Scott Reese, Sean Self, Lowell Chappell, Roniqua Wright, David Moss, Jamie Steadman, Savannah Cross, Josh Beard, Travis Ford, Ryan Thomason, Jasmyne Fletcher, and Ash De Santiago. Joining them is Assistant Professor of Spanish, Dr. Nancy Mason.
Daniels will be aided by assistant director Ryan Thomason and lighting technicians Malik Barton and Amber Deal.
In charge of costumes is Noah Corbin, handling props are Fletcher and De Santiago, and hair and makeup are by Hannah Badger. The set was designed and constructed by Badger, Thomason, Joan Cate, and Evan Kennedy.
“Long Lost Relatives” will be performed at 7 p.m. Nov. 20, 21, and 22 and also at 2 p.m. on Nov. 23. Tickets are $5 at the door and free to Dalton State students, faculty, and staff.
